Coffee beans come together for a kiss, cups move to the beat, and a new coffee machine takes centre stage. For the KRUPS Coffee Crush launch, we created an energetic commercial combining live-action footage, stop-motion animation and still photographs brought into motion.
The brief was to introduce the new machine with a film that felt rhythmic, playful and precise. On a warm orange set, coffee beans form a pair of kissing lips, product shots meet animated typography, and a fast-moving montage connects the beans, the machine and freshly poured drinks. The mix of techniques keeps the film moving with the product at the centre of the story.
