Stop Motion Studio Specializing in Marketing Videos for Businesses

At Liran Kapel Studio, we specialize in creating original stop-motion videos – the kind that instantly capture attention and make every potential customer stop scrolling and immerse themselves in the story, message, and motion.

What Is Stop Motion?

Stop motion is the art of bringing the inanimate to life. It’s a magical animation technique in which objects are photographed frame by frame, creating the illusion of continuous movement that captivates the eye and speaks directly to the heart.

At our studio, we transform this technique into a powerful marketing tool – a unique visual medium that helps your brand stand out in a crowded content landscape. Our stop-motion videos do more than capture attention; they tell your story in an authentic, creative, and memorable way.

When objects come to life on screen, they create an immediate emotional connection with the viewer – and that’s exactly what turns every frame into an effective marketing asset that inspires engagement and drives action.

How Can Stop Motion Benefit Your Business?

Stop motion animation has the power to turn any marketing message into something impossible to ignore. Imagine a short, focused video that showcases your product through hypnotic movement, simplifies complex processes in a captivating way, or tells your brand story in a format that stays with viewers long after they’ve watched it.

Our stop-motion videos integrate seamlessly across all platforms – from Instagram and LinkedIn to corporate websites, presentations, and industry events.

This is more than just visual content; it’s an investment in your brand image, visibility, and authentic connection with your audience.

And for you? A tailor-made creative production designed around your specific goals, supported by personal guidance and an abundance of creativity every step of the way.

Questions and Answers

The first step at our stop motion studio is a personal discovery meeting. We come prepared with a creative strategy that includes several video concepts tailored specifically to your product, brand, or business objective, which we present during the meeting.

You choose the concepts you connect with most, and from there, we move forward together.

Pre-Production

We begin with scriptwriting, storyboards, look & feel development, and any art direction or creative preparations required for the project.

Once all concepts and preparations have been approved, production begins.

If the project is 2D animation, we move directly into the animation stage.

If the project involves video production or stop motion animation, we move into the production phase. A typical studio shoot day runs from 9:00 AM to 5:00-6:00 PM, and we would be delighted to host you at our studio so you can experience the magic firsthand.

Post-Production

This is where everything comes together. We edit the footage, perform color correction, add typography and animation where needed, and enhance the project with sound design, music, and all the finishing touches.

Following your review and any requested revisions, we provide the final versions of the main videos for approval.

We then export all deliverables in the required formats and send you the complete finished assets, ready for use across all your marketing channels.

The cost of a stop motion video varies from project to project, depending on factors such as the video’s length, level of complexity, and production requirements.

For a personalized quote, simply leave your details in the contact form below, and we’ll get back to you shortly with all the information you need.

The estimated production time for short stop motion videos is typically 2-3 weeks from the date of order. Of course, the timeline also depends on the approval and revision process.

If you’re working with a tight deadline, let us know at the beginning of the project, and we’ll do our best to speed things up. One of the major advantages of stop motion production is its flexibility and relatively fast turnaround time. In some cases, a stop motion video can even be produced within just a few days when needed.

The ideal length depends on your specific goals and requirements. A typical stop motion video created for social media usually ranges between 10 and 15 seconds, although longer videos can certainly be produced depending on the objective, platform, and storytelling needs.

Stop motion is created by photographing real objects frame by frame, giving it a more tangible, authentic, and handcrafted feel. Because it uses physical products and real-world materials, it often creates a stronger sense of realism and texture.

Traditional digital animation, on the other hand, is created entirely on a computer. While it offers greater creative freedom, flexibility, and visual possibilities, it typically lacks the natural, tactile quality and real-world texture that make stop motion so distinctive and engaging.

Stop motion is an excellent choice when you need to stand out in crowded social feeds, showcase a product in a memorable way, or create a premium, high-end brand experience. Its unique visual style naturally captures attention and helps your content leave a lasting impression.

It works particularly well for short-form campaigns, product launches, social media content, and brand-focused marketing videos where creativity, originality, and strong visual impact are essential.

Stop motion videos are commonly used across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, landing pages, product websites, advertising campaigns, presentations, and trade shows. Their eye-catching and distinctive style makes them highly effective across both digital and offline marketing channels.

Videos can also be produced in platform-specific formats, including 9:16 for Reels and Stories, 1:1 for social media feeds, and 16:9 for websites, presentations, and YouTube, ensuring optimal performance wherever your content appears.

How Do You Make a Stop Motion Video?

A stop motion video is created by photographing a sequence of still images, frame by frame (around 12 images on average for every second of the final video), with the object being moved slightly in each frame and photographed again. Then, all the images are connected in sequence using editing software – creating the motion effect of a live video. After that, each image is reviewed and color-corrected using advanced software. Finally, animations, illustrations, text, and music are added if needed, until a finished and viral stop motion video is created.

Things You May Not Have Known About Stop Motion:

It is the oldest form of animation in the world. Even Walt Disney, one of the pioneers of global animation and the most well-known among them, used to draw Mickey Mouse thousands of times, photograph the drawings, and run the images in sequence to create animated videos. The first stop motion video in the world, “The Humpty Dumpty Circus,” was produced in 1898, only ten years after the invention of the first camera.

Stop motion is photographed in stills. Yes, every frame is photographed separately. The movement is created by photographing a frame, moving the object slightly within the frame, and photographing again – many, many times. When we run the images in sequence, the object appears to move, and the “magic” begins to work.

Every second of film contains about 12 still images.

It is known that one second of video contains 24 frames. In order to create beautiful and smooth movement in our videos, I photograph 12 images for every second of film, so the movement will not look “choppy.” This means that even a short 15-second video is made up of close to 200 still images.

In Tim Burton’s film The Nightmare Before Christmas, 24 frames were photographed for every second, so you are welcome to calculate for yourselves how many images this wonderful film is made of, considering it is 76 minutes long.

For the full-length animated film Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, more than 12.8 tons of plasticine were used to create the characters, along with about 1,000 wet wipes per week to clean the hands of the animators who moved the characters frame by frame. It is the only stop motion film in history to have won an Oscar, in 2005.

Stop motion is an art that combines many talents and different skills. A stop motion artist needs to know how to create the right timing, express emotion through movement, and tell a story using objects made from different materials, such as plasticine, paper cutouts, props, food, and much more. In addition, good hands are needed to create sets and props according to the needs of the film. Finally, cinematic skills are also required, such as knowledge of photography, lighting, and editing.

What Are the Benefits of Stop Motion for Businesses?

When a company invests in a stop motion video, it receives an exceptional marketing product that differentiates it from competitors and captures customers’ attention in a way unlike anything else. Here are some of the main benefits that stop motion offers businesses:

Stop Motion Catches the Eye

In an age where audiences scroll quickly through their feeds and are exposed to an abundance of content every second, the main challenge for marketers is to capture and maintain attention.

This is exactly where the power of stop motion comes in. These are videos that immediately stand out in the digital landscape. They look different, feel different, and spark curiosity from the very first moment. Objects begin moving on their own, products “dance” on the screen, and the viewer simply has to stop for a moment to understand what they are seeing.

In addition, in a world saturated with AI-generated content, stop motion provides something real that cannot be faked. The authentic feeling stays in the viewer’s heart and draws them in to watch and appreciate the artistry.

In this way, stop motion can stop the endless scrolling on social media and give your marketing message a few precious seconds of focus from the potential customer. Beyond that, the magic and creativity of the technique often make viewers continue watching until the end, out of curiosity to discover “what happens next.”

The result is higher view rates, more shares and interactions, and ultimately – broader organic exposure for your brand. This is why major brands such as Nike, Apple, and Coca-Cola have already used a stop motion studio to create videos for viral campaigns that gained millions of views worldwide. One creative stop motion video can boost your brand awareness and create huge buzz.

“Humanizing” the Product

One of the most prominent advantages of stop motion lies in the fact that it is based on real physical objects. Unlike fully computer-generated animation, here viewers see real products and objects on screen, not a digital illustration.

This gives the final result a sense of tangibility and authenticity that is difficult to recreate using other techniques. The viewer notices the real textures, the natural shadows, and the actual materials the products are made of – all of which communicate a higher level of credibility.

When a customer sees a real product moving and coming to life through stop motion, it creates the impression that the brand is not trying to “deceive the eye” with shiny computer-generated animation or fake AI-generated visuals, but rather presenting creative content based on something real. This is a subtle message of trust: our product is real, high-quality, and we are proud to show it as it is – only in a more creative way.

In addition, the very knowledge that manual work and true craftsmanship were invested in animating physical objects conveys a sense of handmade quality and dedication. These values connect well with brands that want to communicate quality, luxury, and a personal touch. In this sense, stop motion positions the business as innovative, yet also reliable and value-driven.

Creativity That Differentiates the Brand

Stop motion is a celebration of limitless creativity. With this technique, anything is possible: products can float in the air, connect to one another in a magical way, change form and then return to themselves – all through imagination and skilled hands.

For a brand, this is a golden opportunity to differentiate itself from competitors through groundbreaking marketing content. A good stop motion video tells the brand’s unique story in a way that cannot be ignored.

It can illustrate complex processes in a simple and engaging way, present products in an unusual context, or communicate brand values through a small and moving storyline. This creativity not only captures viewers’ hearts, but also makes your brand memorable in the long term. When a potential customer is exposed to a brilliant and original video, the brand is immediately associated with innovation, out-of-the-box thinking, and creativity.

In a world where image is everything, stop motion videos help build memorable and powerful branding. They reflect a brand that is willing to invest in extraordinary content and not settle for the usual standard. For the audience, this creates a very positive impression and proves that your business is high-quality, original, and worth paying attention to.

Multi-Use Marketing Content

Another surprising advantage of producing a stop motion video is the additional assets you receive “along the way.”

In the process of creating a stop motion video, we at Liran Kapel Stop Motion Studio photograph hundreds of high-quality images of the product or brand from various angles and in different setups. The result is not only an amazing video – but also a rich image bank that the business can use for additional needs.

These images are original and creative product photos in their own right, and they can be leveraged in many ways: embedded on the company website, added to printed product catalogs, used in social media posts, marketing presentations, newsletters, and more.

In other words, one investment delivers double and even multiplied value – both a viral video and dozens or hundreds of visual content assets for free use. Beyond that, a high-quality stop motion video is a “digital asset” with a long lifespan.

So What Actually Activates the Viewer and Makes Stop Motion So Effective?

First of all, this technique is full of magic and emotion, which automatically attracts views, likes, and shares. The illusion of an object moving on its own, dancing, disappearing and turning into something else, or changing without any person around, creates a very special feeling.

These videos truly catch the eye, and they make the viewer think – how did they do that?!

Short stop motion videos are surprising, innovative, and emotionally engaging. Therefore, this super-visual content makes your brand stand out and causes the viewer’s endless scrolling to pause, watch, and connect with us.

The possibilities are truly endless. The coolest thing about stop motion is that you can create it from almost anything. Stop motion videos can be created from ready-made objects, particles such as sand, salt and spices, clay, paper cutouts, dolls, and even people.

It is a perfect technique for advertising lifestyle products such as food and beverages, fashion, art, cosmetics, books, and more. It is also suitable for brands and service providers such as apps, designers, architects, therapists, sports brands, and more.

Because the materials we use to create stop motion are endless, we can find the right technique for any message we want to convey. The secret is to mix and match opposite worlds, such as an ad we created for an app called Cashback, made from paper cutouts. An app is a very modern concept, while paper cutouts are an ancient art form. This classic look helped us tell Cashback’s story in a unique way.

Another excellent example is using a product in an unexpected way, such as fireworks made from makeup products!

Idea inspired by Visual Country Studio.

In our studio, we enhance the viewing experience by combining illustration and 2D animation into our stop motion videos. This gives the work its own unique world and branding, while making the video stand out and become more artistic, special, and beautiful.

Another advantage of creating stop motion is the relatively short time it takes to produce. While other forms of animation take a long time to complete, with stop motion we can produce and create a short video within a week. The reason is simple – we can choose to work with ready-made objects.

The most important part of the production is pre-production. We dedicate time to creating a script and storyboard, a styling and creative inspiration board, and an animatic board, which is a storyboard placed on a timeline and allows us to test whether the video works or not. After precise planning, we have a shoot day, and by the end of it we sometimes already have an almost finished video! A few days of editing later – and we have a ready-to-publish video!

Behind-the-scenes videos and still images from the shoot day also create great material for Instagram Stories and TikTok.

The bottom line – stop motion is fast, unique, and effective.

Today, videos are usually adapted to different sizes. When we launch a new campaign, it is very important to pay attention to the size and resolution of the video. Video resolutions vary, and each one fits a different platform. Instagram is 4:5, Stories are 9:16, YouTube videos need to be 16:9, and what about TikTok?!

One great thing about stop motion videos is that it is quite simple to play with the resolution. All we need to do is know in advance and plan the video accordingly. Since the entire video is actually made of still photographs, you can also get super high-quality images that can even be used on billboards.

So, as I mentioned earlier, we have a creative art form merged with a practical message – and that is what makes stop motion videos so unique.
